Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un robuste v\u00e9g\u00e9tal aux\u00a0tiges creuses et finement stri\u00e9es, portant de grandes feuilles \u00e9l\u00e9gamment d\u00e9coup\u00e9es, au-dessous blanch\u00e2tre Ses larges ombelles en forme de boule, blanches ou ros\u00e9es, r\u00e9pandent une odeur suave et tr\u00e8s p\u00e9n\u00e9trante. Cette plante tire son nom du grec <strong>\u00ab angelos \u00bb (ou \u00ab messager \u00bb) car l&rsquo;archange Rapha\u00ebl aurait fait conna\u00eetre cette plante aux hommes au X\u00e8me si\u00e8cle.<\/strong> Ce sont les religieuses <strong>niortaises<\/strong> qui, au 19\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, eurent l&rsquo;id\u00e9e de la\u00a0confire et d&rsquo;en faire de la <strong>liqueur (B\u00e9n\u00e9dictine, Chartreuse).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Propri\u00e9t\u00e9s culinaires :<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">La saveur de cette esp\u00e8ce\u00a0est si agr\u00e9ablement parfum\u00e9e qu&rsquo;on en fait des <strong>confiseries.<\/strong> Toute la plante, les racines, les feuilles, la\u00a0tige sont comestibles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sant\u00e9 :<\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">L&rsquo;ang\u00e9lique se r\u00e9v\u00e8le \u00eatre un bon <strong>stimulant de l&rsquo;appareil digestif.<\/strong> Elle \u00e9vite la formation de gaz intestinaux qui peuvent provoquer des probl\u00e8mes de\u00a0ballonnements et d\u2019a\u00e9rophagie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Exigences :\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">L&rsquo;ang\u00e9lique r\u00e9clame un sol frais, tr\u00e8s meuble, non argileux et peut se contenter d&rsquo;une exposition mi-ombrag\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Techniques culturales :<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une\u00a0plante <strong>bisannuelle\u00a0<\/strong>et si vous la semez cette ann\u00e9e, en avril-mai en p\u00e9pini\u00e8re et avec un repiquage deux mois apr\u00e8s, vous ne\u00a0pourrez la mettre en place qu&rsquo;au <strong>printemps prochain.<\/strong> Pour \u00e9viter cette attente, vous pouvez utiliser un pied pr\u00eat \u00e0 l&#8217;emploi dans le commerce. Distancez vos diff\u00e9rents sujets, si bien s\u00fbr vous ne d\u00e9sirez pas vous contenter d&rsquo;un seul, tous les 80 cm en tous sens.
